A popular free iPhone App has been recently updated. Les 3 Vallees official iPhone App Version three is now available for free download from the iTunes store.The new features on the app include: a dynamic area map, GPS localization in the resort, a detailed weather forecast, full directory of resorts's restaurants, stores and services, video player with a selection of the best 3 Vallees videos and emergency phone numbers. There are also quite a few additional witty options which skiers will find useful. 'Find friends' is fun option which helps you find your friends on the slopes and arrange to meet up. This option works in conjunction with the users address books and with the help of the iPhone's GPS feature. Panorama feature (augmented reality) comes handy if you want to know the name of the peak up ahead of you. |
The 3 Valley's (Les Trois Vallees), Europe's largest ski area connecting the Alpine towns of Meribel, Courchevel and Val Thorens has a lot going on in season 2011/12. Meribel Family Fun. In the Meribel Ski Area, two new fun park areas for families located in the Altiport area are opening for the first time this season. The Acticross is a fun area with woops, tunnels, banked turns and small slaloms dedicated to children and their parents. Close to the green slopes, it is accessible to children from 6 years old. Special events will take place in this area during school holidays – children are going to love it! The Moon Wild: In the forest, a slope has been converted in a learning area for children. |
